PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
  1. Players must play in their appropriate grade division or may “play up“ (i.e. a 4th grader may play on a 5th grade team).
  2. Community teams ONLY: All players must reside within the same city and/or the same school system. Non-conforming teams will be disqualified from bracket play. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

TOURNAMENT ROSTERS
  1. All player's ages must be indicated on team rosters.
  2. Birth certificates should be available for inspection for all players during tournament play.
  3. Players may only appear on ONE roster.
  4. The roster must be filled out completely on the registration form and returned with entry fee.
  5. Team rosters are limited to 12 players and 3 coaches per team.

PLAYING RULES
  1. Ohio High School Athletic Rules apply (except where noted).
  2. Game shall consist of 2 halves lasting 20 minutes each with a 4 minute halftime. Each overtime period, if necessary, shall be 2 minutes.
  3. Clock stops on whistles only during the last 1 Minute of the 1st half and the final 2 minutes of the 2nd half and for the full duration of any overtime period. A running clock is otherwise used.
  4. Each team will be allowed 4 thirty-second timeouts per game, including carry-over to overtime. No extra overtime timeouts will be provided.
  5. The official score sheet will be kept at the scorer’s table. The score book and the clock will be kept by a tournament employee.
  6. 4th, 5th & 6th Grade Divisions: Any Half court defense will be permitted. Full court press allowed in second half and overtime only. If the lead is 15 points or more, no full court pressing is allowed.
  7. 3rd Grade Divison: Man-to-Man defense only. Full court pressing ( any press but back to man on man after opponent has advanced the ball over half court ) is allowed only during the last 10 minutes of second half & overtime periods (when less than 15-point lead).
  8. A 1-and-1 bonus occurs on the 7th team foul in a half. A double bonus occurs on the 10th team foul in a half.
  9. Free throws will be shot at 15 feet for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade divisions. Shooter cannot jump over the free throw line.
  10. Free throws will be shot from 13 ft. for the 3rd grade division. Shooter CAN NOT jump over the free throw line.

TIE-BREAKER PROCEDURE
  1. Head-to-Head competition
  2. Best point differential (Max. 15 pts/game)
  3. Least points given up
  4. Most points scored
  5. Coin flip

NOTE: in the event of a 3 team tie, head-to-head competition is not used. The top 2 teams are determined based on the remaining tie breakers.

FORMAT
  1. Pool play format. EACH TEAM GUARANTEED MINIMUM 3 GAMES
  2. Each organization and individual participant in the tournament must be covered by their own organization's and/or their own individual insurance policy(ies).
  3. Each team must supply their own jerseys with numbers on either the front or back of jerseys.
  4. Any player, coach or fan that is ejected from the game will be automatically suspended for the remainder of the tournament.
  5. There will be a 5-minute grace period. If your team is not ready to play by that time, the game will be a forfeit and the score will be recorded as 15-0.
  6. Games may start up to 10 minutes before scheduled game time if head coaches for both teams are in agreement and both teams have had 5 minutes of warm up time.
  7. Two certified Referees will be provided for all games.

THE INTERPRETATION OF RULES AND ALL DECISIONS OF THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ARE FINAL.
